Dr. Larry D Miller

Dr. Larry D. Miller is Research Professor of Communicative Arts and an Editor with the U.S. Army War College Press. Miller authors the USAWC’s Communicative Arts Directives for the Resident, Distance, and Army War College Fellow Programs. He edits award winning student research for The Army War College Review and edits The Carlisle Compendia of Collaborative Research which features co-authored student-faculty research. His publications appear in a number of academic and professional journals, including: The Quarterly Journal of Speech, Communication Research, Communication Studies, Communication Education, the Southern Communication Journal, Western Journal of Speech Communication, Simulation and Games, and Joint Force Quarterly. Miller, a former Executive Director and Past President of the Central States Communication Association, holds a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan and two degrees from Kent State. He is a 2009 graduate of The United States Army War College.
