Ms. Huyen Thi Minh Van

Ms. Huyen Thi Minh Van (local Vietnamese name: Van Thi Minh Huyen) is currently a sponsored doctoral student and graduate teaching assistant in the HRD program, College of Education and Human Development, TAMU. She has developed research interests in indigenization in HRD and people development in services marketing. Before joining TAMU in August 2013, she had been a lecturer of business studies and marketing principles since 1998 in Foreign Trade University, Vietnam. From 2006 to 2013, she also worked for the Vietnam-Japan Human Resource Corporation Center as an assistant interpreter and translator for business courses. In 2008, she got a scholarship from Honda Corporation to take part in a leadership program for Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) young leaders in Japan. Huyen Van has both her B.A. and M.A. degrees in international business and economics. She will return to academia upon completion of the Ph.D. degree.
