Grand strategy may be many things to many people, but its logic is often poorly understood. Focusing on the foundation of grand strategy as the combination of military and non-military power in war, Dr. Lukas Milevski elucidates the logic of grand strategy and of how disparate forms of power can be constructively employed together. He considers how the introduction of military force and violence alters the meaning and plausible effects of non-military pressure and identifies what space is still left open for non-military power to make an impact within the adversarial context of war.
