Colonel John C. Valledor

Colonel John C. Valledor is an infantry officer currently serving as the Director, Strategic Leader Development Division in the Center for Strategic Leadership and Development, U.S. Army War College. Prior assignments included Deputy Director, Strategy, Policy and Plans at Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan. Colonel Valledor has served in air assault, mechanized, and light infantry units for over 3 decades in various positions from platoon through battalion command. He participated in Operations DESERT SHIELD/STORM, UPHOLD DEMOCRACY, IRAQI FREEDOM, ENDURING FREEDOM and ODYSSEY DAWN. Colonel Valledor holds a B.A. degree in history from Norwich University, an M.S.A degree from Central Michigan University, and an M.S. degree from the U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies.
